About Destined Rivals
Destined Rivals released on May 30, 2025 as a Scarlet and Violet expansion built around Team Rocket. Giovanni and the Team Rocket Admins arrive to disrupt the game, and heroic Trainers push back: Cynthia with Garchomp ex, Ethan with Ho-Oh ex and Arven with Mabosstiff ex, while Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex fights under Giovanni's command. Trainer's Pokemon cards, which pair a Pokemon with its Trainer, run through the whole set, and illustration rare and special illustration rare cards show the villains with their Pokemon partners.
