About Radiance
Radiance is Set 5, the fifth Riftbound expansion, out worldwide on October 23, 2026. The 14-card packs draw from a pool of 180 cards with more than 60 Showcase cards, including new legends, units, spells and mechanics. Riftbound is Riot's League of Legends trading card game, published in English by UVS Games.
Radiance brings in more League of Legends champions, among them Ekko, Evelynn and Seraphine, who join the game for the first time. Riot says the set has nine new Legends, each with an Overnumbered version. New mechanics include Deploy, where a Gear played to a Battlefield grants benefits there, Show Off, which unlocks a new effect when you reveal a qualifying card, and Disarm, which lowers an enemy unit's Might when you attack. Equipment can now become Units, and the set adds a Bomb token.
Overnumbered, Special and Ultimate Rare cards
Each of the nine new Legends has an Overnumbered version, and Riot notes some carry the artist's signature. Published card lists number the Overnumbered cards 168 to 183, including six HEARTSTEEL champion cards, and list the Ultimate Rare battlefield Packed Amphitheater at 184/167. Riot calls it Riftbound's second Ultimate Rare and gives its average appearance as roughly 0.025 percent of booster packs, an average across the print run. K/DA themed Special cards turn up at roughly the same rate as Alt Art cards, and the Runes get musically themed Alt Art versions.
