About Destined Rivals
Destined Rivals is the set that brought Team Rocket back to the modern TCG, pairing villain-owned Pokemon against trainer-owned ones across the checklist. The Pokemon Company released it on May 30, 2025, with over 240 cards, including over 85 Trainer's Pokemon, over 45 of them Team Rocket's Pokemon, more than 15 Pokemon ex and more than 20 Trainer cards. Players can side with Cynthia and Garchomp ex, Ethan and Ho-Oh ex, or Arven and Mabosstiff ex, or fight alongside Team Rocket's Pokemon such as Mewtwo ex under Giovanni's command. More than 45 Pokemon and Trainer cards carry special illustrations.
