Why this deck
Every card in the deck is foil, which is unusual for a product at this price, and each deck carries its own exclusive illustration-rare-style promo: Victini in the Espeon ex deck, Zeraora in the Umbreon ex deck. The box art shows the two decks side by side, Espeon ex on the green box and Umbreon ex on the purple box, each marked as including 60 foil cards.
Playable out of the box and a cheap way into a competitive list, but the foil treatment and the two promos are what make these worth putting on a shelf. Espeon ex and Umbreon ex are the two Eeveelutions this release is built around, so the pair also sits well next to the rest of a 30th Celebration collection.
About the release
30th Celebration marks thirty years of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The expansion began reaching retail on September 16, 2026, and the Battle Decks follow with an in-store date of October 30, 2026. The two decks are sold as separate designs, and you pick the one you want from the options above.
