About Series 2
Series 2 launched June 19, 2026 and covers the first partners of the Johto, Unova and Galar regions. The nine promos are MEP Black Star Promos 046 to 054: Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile from Johto; Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott from Unova; and Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble from Galar. Each one is an illustration rare-style promo card.
The promo pack holds three of the nine. The manufacturer does not publish how the three are picked, so we make no claim about which trio is inside a sealed box, and collecting all nine takes several boxes or trades.
Series 2 against Series 1 and Series 3
The numbering keeps the series apart. Series 1 is MEP 037 to 045, Series 2 is MEP 046 to 054, and Series 3 is MEP 055 to 063 with the Hoenn, Kalos and Paldea first partners. The nine Series 2 promos are not part of the Series 1 or Series 3 checklists, so this is the box for the Johto, Unova and Galar first partners in this treatment.

Do I get all nine promos in one box?
No. Each box's promo pack holds three of the nine. The manufacturer does not publish how the three are picked, so there is no way to tell which three are inside a sealed box.
Which booster packs are in the box?
One Perfect Order pack and one Chaos Rising pack, both from the Mega Evolution series, as shown on the box in our listing photo. The manufacturer's packing list calls them two Pokemon TCG booster packs without naming the sets.
