Unpack the mysteries of the universe
Space: Galactic Edition takes collectors on a journey from our closest celestial neighbors, like the Moon and Mars, all the way to the furthest reaches of the known universe and beyond. Along the way the cards cover space based technologies, transportation systems, astronomers, elements, physicists, Greek mythology, mathematicians and possibly even extraterrestrial life forms.
The checklist
The core of the set is 80 Collector Cards. Each of the 80 also comes as a Matrix Holofoil parallel, exclusive to the Mega Box, a Crystal Sparkle parallel, exclusive to the Collector's Box, and a serial numbered Gemstone Refractor parallel. On top of that sit 12 Constellation Refractor cards, 9 Solar System Refractor subset cards and 21 Deep Space subset cards, along with Parallel Rainbow holofoil cards. Each box type has its own refractors: Matrix and Opal Gemstone for the Mega Box, Crystal Sparkle and Jade for the Collector's Box, so the Collector's Box parallels are not part of this box. Retail listings for the Mega Box also mention randomly inserted Currency Series 5 preview cards.
Crypto redemption cards
Randomly inserted in Galactic Edition packs are specially marked cards redeemable for various denominations of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin. There is a crypto redemption card in each Master Case, including redemptions for full and partial Bitcoins. That is per Master Case, not per box, so a redemption card in any single Mega Box is rare and never guaranteed. Redemption terms are set by the maker.
