Which Donruss Basketball this is
This is the 2025-26 Panini Donruss Basketball set, the Donruss release for the 2025-26 season, which came out in 2026. The set is made without an NBA license, so the cards carry no NBA team logos. Panini also debuted a Panini Premier logo with this release, marking a top prospect's first official Panini card.
The rookie class
The box art features Jeremiah Fears, Tre Johnson III and VJ Edgecombe, and the 200-card base checklist opens with the same three: VJ Edgecombe (1), Tre Johnson III (2) and Jeremiah Fears (3). The rookie run continues with Khaman Maluach (4), Cedric Coward (5), Noa Essengue (6), Derik Queen (7) and Carter Bryant (8). Veterans and legends appear further into the set, including Giannis Antetokounmpo (106) and Larry Bird (140).
Paper, Optic and inserts
Donruss runs on two stocks. The paper base set carries the classic look, and a separate 200-card Base Optic set puts the same design on chromium stock with its own parallel run. On the published checklist the paper parallels step down from Cosmos /275 to Gold /10 and a Black 1 of 1, and the Optic parallels run from Pink Glitter /275 down to Gold /10, Black Gold /8 and Gold Vinyl and Nebula one of ones.
The insert lineup includes Net Marvels, Swish, Unleashed, Zero Gravity and the brand-new Elite Series. The popular Night Moves short print makes its return, and Downtown and Slammy make their Donruss debut. Autograph sets include Elite Signatures, Fade to Greatness, Hardwood Kings, License to Drive, Pen Pals and Inscriptions. Format odds are not published, and not every insert or autograph set appears in every format.
