The mega-only parallels
The side panel of the box flags two Mega Box exclusive parallels, Blue Velocity and Electricity. Both belong to the Optic side of the set, the chromium version of the Donruss design. On the published checklist the Optic Electricity parallel is numbered to 69, while no print run is listed for Blue Velocity. Neither comes in a hobby box, which is what makes a Blue Velocity or Electricity Rated Prospect a mega box card.
Whammy! and Night Moves
Whammy! is printed on the box as a retail exclusive and an ultra-rare insert. It is a 10-card set with a Gold parallel numbered to 10, and the published checklist opens with Nick Kurtz (1), Cal Ripken (2), Roman Anthony (3), Eli Willits (4), Ethan Holliday (5) and Jacob Misiorowski (6). Night Moves is the other 10-card insert to watch, running from Paul Skenes (1), Aaron Judge (2) and Bobby Witt Jr. (3) to Konnor Griffin (10). We do not quote odds for either insert.
About the set
2026 Donruss Baseball is built on a 200-card base set: 100 base cards and 100 Rated Prospects, the Donruss young-player subset. Rated Prospects on the published checklist include Konnor Griffin (101), Jesus Made (107), Leo De Vries (129), Eli Willits (156), Kevin McGonigle (157) and Ethan Holliday (159), and Willits is the player on the front of this box. A matching Optic set repeats the 100 base cards and 100 Rated Prospects on chromium stock with its own parallel run, down to Gold Vinyl and Black Finite one of ones. The paper parallels step from Holo, Liberty and Purple, listed with no print run, through Orange Laser /299 to Gold /10 and a Black 1 of 1. Set-wide inserts include Diamond Kings, Elite Series, Stained Glass, Animations and Alter Ego; not every insert is in every format.
