A night-themed Gem Pack

Vol. 3 is themed around Pokemon of the night. The lineup includes Gengar, Darkrai ex, Mismagius, Chandelure, Absol ex, Banette ex, Houndoom ex, Houndstone ex and Greavard, alongside Meowth, Cubone, Clefable ex, Gardevoir ex, Mimikyu, Morpeko, Ceruledge, Lycanroc ex and Annihilape ex. Published lists count 34 different cards in 136 prints, with Trainer cards such as Super Rod, Nest Ball and Switch and three Energy cards, among them Luminous Energy.

What is in the pack

Every card in a Gem Pack is foil. Each pack holds 4 cards: 3 of common or uncommon rarity and 1 card of one-star, two-star or three-star rarity. Foil treatments include type-pattern holo, Master Ball-pattern holo and gold-stamped versions carrying the Gem Pack logo.

The cards collectors chase

The set has five exclusive art rares: Gengar, Meowth, Cubone, Chandelure and Ceruledge. The Gengar art rare, card 0307/07, is the top card in published card lists. Morpeko also has an art rare print at 1407/07.

Why Simplified Chinese

Simplified Chinese is the mainland China release, printed separately from the English, Japanese and Korean runs, with far smaller print runs than English. Gem Packs are a Simplified Chinese series, so read the card text as Chinese, not English.
