Where these packs come from
The Pokemon Company never released Black Bolt as a retail booster box or single pack. Every loose pack comes out of a sealed collection, and ours are pulled fresh from sealed Unova Poster Collection boxes. The manufacturer's Black Bolt product list is the Elite Trainer Box, the Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box, the Unova Poster Collection, the Binder Collection, the Unova Mini Tin, the Unova Victini Illustration Collection and Booster Bundles.
About the set
Black Bolt released July 18, 2025 and revisits the Unova region alongside its companion set White Flare, with Black and White era Pokemon returning as ex cards, illustration rares and special illustration rares. The split expansion highlights all 156 Pokemon originally discovered in Unova. Black Bolt features Zekrom ex and Meloetta ex, and first partner Snivy evolves all the way to Serperior ex. The Pokemon Company lists over 170 cards, more than 65 illustration rare cards, more than 5 special illustration rare cards and more than 5 Pokemon ex, plus parallel cards with Poke Ball patterns.

The published checklist runs 172 cards: 86 in the main set and 86 numbered above it. Ultra Rares sit at 156 to 161, and the Special Illustration Rares at 162 to 170 include Serperior ex (164), Kyurem ex (165), Zekrom ex (166), Meloetta ex (167), Excadrill ex (168) and Genesect ex (169), alongside Fennel and N's Plan.
