What is in the box

  • 1 promo card, holofoil: Fukuoka's Pikachu, 289/SV-P
  • 1 deck shield set, 64 sleeves
  • 1 deck case
  • 1 long card box

The contents are fixed. The promo is the only card inside, so nothing in this box is random. The sleeves, deck case and long card box carry artwork that matches the box.

The promo card

Fukuoka's Pikachu, 289/SV-P, is a Basic Lightning Pokemon with 70 HP, illustrated by Nelnal. Its first attack, Renewal Open!, costs two Colorless Energy and draws 2 cards. It also has a second attack for one Lightning and two Colorless Energy that does 30 damage and heals 30 HP from this Pokemon. Weakness is Fighting times two, with no resistance and a retreat cost of one. It is a Scarlet and Violet era promo, and the card text is Japanese.

The box art and the promo art are drawn from a Fukuoka gourmet festival: the front of the box shows Pikachu in a festival coat among food stalls, with Latias and Latios flying overhead.

How it was sold

The Pokemon Company opened lottery sales on Pokemon Center Online on June 13, 2025, for three regional Special Boxes marking the renewals of Pokemon Center Tohoku, Pokemon Center Hiroshima and Pokemon Center Fukuoka. Pokemon Center Online was the only outlet named, with a note that Pokemon Center stores might carry the boxes later. On March 13, 2026, The Pokemon Company announced an additional production run and further sales on Pokemon Center Online for all three boxes.

Fukuoka, Tohoku or Hiroshima

All three Special Boxes hold the same items: one promo, 64 sleeves, a deck case and a long card box. They differ in artwork and in the promo Pikachu. Tohoku's Pikachu is 260/SV-P by Kouki Saitou, with art of festivals of the Tohoku region. Hiroshima's Pikachu is 261/SV-P by REOspikee, with art of Pikachu enjoying a Hiroshima-inspired town. All three Pikachu have 70 HP and the Renewal Open! attack and differ in their second attack, so pick the box whose art and promo you want.
