About Evolving Skies
Evolving Skies released August 27, 2021 as a Sword & Shield expansion of more than 200 cards, 237 in all once the cards numbered past the main set are counted. Rayquaza VMAX leads it, joined by Duraludon VMAX in its Gigantamax form, Dragonite V and Noivern V, as Dragon type Pokemon return with a new look. Eevee's evolutions arrive as a full rainbow of Pokemon V and Pokemon VMAX, part of 18 Pokemon V and 15 Pokemon VMAX across the set, along with more Single Strike and Rapid Strike cards, 24 Trainer cards and a new Special Energy card.
Evolving Skies is one of the most popular Sword & Shield sets, home to Umbreon VMAX, Sylveon VMAX, Espeon VMAX and a deep lineup of Eeveelution hits. The best known chase is the alternate art Umbreon VMAX, card 215, and the cards numbered past the main set also include Rayquaza VMAX 218, Sylveon VMAX 212, Glaceon VMAX 209 and Leafeon VMAX 205.
Why a checklane blister
A checklane blister pairs one booster pack with cards and a coin you can see through the plastic before you buy. The Houndoom promo and the coin are part of the sealed package, and the booster pack is the chance at an Evolving Skies hit. A must-have for Pokemon collectors.
