About the set

Chaos Rising released on May 22, 2026 as part of the Mega Evolution series, which follows the Pokemon Legends: Z-A era. It is a compact expansion: 122 cards in total, 86 in the main set plus 36 secret rares. The English set is built from the Japanese Ninja Spinner expansion.

The set is headlined by five Mega Evolution Pokemon ex: Mega Greninja ex, Mega Floette ex, Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Dragalge ex, and Mega Gallade ex. Mega Evolution ex cards bring massive HP and heavy attacks, and they cost three Prize cards when knocked out, which is exactly why they define the format and the chase.

The higher rarities break down as 11 Illustration Rares, 18 Ultra Rares, and 6 Special Illustration Rares, with the Mega Greninja ex Mega Hyper Rare sitting at the very end of the set as card 122. The Pokemon Company publishes no pull rates for the set, so we quote none.
