Checker Flag, the Mega Box parallel
Checker Flag Refractors are made only for the Mega Box. The unnumbered Checker Flag Refractor sits at the bottom, and the published checklist runs numbered versions of the base card from Blue /150 through Green /99, Purple /75, Gold /50, Orange /25 and Black /10 down to Red /5. With eight Checker Flag cards in the box, this is the format for collectors who want a run of one parallel across the grid.
Suit Up and Home Straight, 25 cards each, are the two retail exclusive insert sets, shared with the Value Box. Suit Up opens with Lando Norris (SU-1) and Oscar Piastri (SU-2). Art Du Grand Prix, a five-card retail exclusive insert, is the scarcest of the three.
The autograph chase
The box print calls out Chrome Autograph cards as the chase and notes that the box may contain redemption cards with expiration dates. Named autographs on the published checklist include Lando Norris (CAC-LN), Max Verstappen (CAC-MV), Oscar Piastri (CAC-OP), Carlos Sainz (CAC-CS) and Arvid Lindblad (CAC-AL). Autographs are a chase in this format, not part of the listed box contents.
About the set
2026 Topps Chrome Formula 1 released October 15, 2026. It is built on a 200-subject base set covering F1, F2 and F3 drivers, the cars, team duos, team principals and legends of the sport. Refractors run from the standard finish up through a numbered color ladder, Full Grid Refractors numbered to 22 featuring the current F1 driver line-up, Black, Red, one-of-one SuperFractors and Printing Plates. Inserts across the set include Speed Wheels, Austin to Mexico City, Helmet Collection, Dancing in the Rain, Futuro, Genesis, The Grid, Helix, Abu Dhabi At Night and Chrome Anime.
Autographs span roughly 100 racing subjects across the three series, and the Grail program returns for 2026 with three cards: Lando Norris (G-1), Max Verstappen (G-4) and Oscar Piastri (G-7).

How many cards are in a Mega Box?
42: six packs of seven cards. There are 20 boxes per case.
What are Checker Flag parallels?
Refractor parallels made only for the Mega Box. Topps lists 8 Checker Flag base cards per box, and the published checklist runs numbered versions from Blue /150 down to Red /5.
How is the Mega Box different from the Value Box?
The Mega Box has 42 cards and the Checker Flag parallels. The Value Box has 28 cards and its own black-and-white RayWave Refractors. Both carry the retail exclusive Suit Up and Home Straight inserts.
Are there autographs?
Chrome Autographs are the chase named on the box, and the box notes it may contain redemption cards with expiration dates. Autographs are not part of the listed box contents, so a single box may have none.
What is in the base set?
200 subjects covering F1, F2 and F3 drivers, the cars, team duos, team principals and legends of the sport. Which cards land in any box is random.
When did it release?
October 15, 2026.
Where does it ship from?
Our shop in Plains, PA, just outside Wilkes-Barre. The box is factory sealed.
The published checklist is marked subject to change, and we do not print pull odds on this page. Manufacturer sell sheet information, hit rates, and configurations are subject to change and are shown as a guide. Pulls are random and never guaranteed.
