About Paldea Evolved

Paldea Evolved is the second Scarlet & Violet set, a 193-card main checklist that runs well past that number once the secret rares are counted. Published checklists show 279 cards in all. The set released June 9, 2023.

The chase list is led by the special illustration rares, with Iono (269) the card the set is remembered for, and the ex cards, double rares, ultra rares and gold secret rares filling in beneath. Tera Pokemon ex carry the set's distinctive crystal frame, and published checklists list Forretress ex, Slowking ex and Dedenne ex as the Tera Pokemon ex in the set.

The art rare run

Published checklists put the illustration rares at 194 to 228, the special illustration rares at 256 to 270 and the gold hyper rares at 271 to 279. Beyond Iono, the special illustration rares include Meowscarada ex (256), Skeledirge ex (258), Quaquaval ex (260), Chien-Pao ex (261), Tinkaton ex (262), Ting-Lu ex (263) and Boss's Orders (Ghetsis) (265). The illustration rares include Magikarp (203) and the three Paldea starters, Sprigatito (196), Fuecoco (201) and Quaxly (206).
