About the promotion

The Pokemon Company announced on February 9, 2021 that McDonald's Happy Meals would include a 25th Anniversary Special Edition McDonald's booster pack of Pokemon Trading Card Game cards, for a limited time. Each pack includes four exclusive cards, and every card carries the Pokemon 25th logo.

The set

The collection features all 24 first partner Pokemon from every region through Galar, plus Pikachu, for 25 cards. Each card was printed in a standard version and a foil version, which makes 50 cards to collect in total. The first partners run from Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle through Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble, and Pikachu closes the set at card 25.

What is in the pack

4 cards per pack: 3 standard cards and 1 holo. The holo can be any of the 25 Pokemon in the set, and the holo Pikachu is the chase card. Which Pokemon you get is random, and no specific card is promised.

The pack

The foil wrapper shows Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle with the Pokemon 25 logo and reads 4 Additional Game Cards. It is a small, quick rip and an easy add for anyone putting together the 25th anniversary run.
