About the set

2020 Prizm Football released on December 2, 2020, after Panini first solicited it for November 18. The base set runs 400 cards: veterans and legends at 1 to 300, then a 100-card rookie run from 301 to 400 that Panini called one of the deepest NFL rookie classes in years. Joe Burrow is card 307 and Tee Higgins is 308, and the class also includes Justin Herbert, Tua Tagovailoa, CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Hurts, Jonathan Taylor, and Chase Young. Rookies fall two per pack.

The hobby parallel run starts with unnumbered Silver Prizms and the new Snakeskin Prizm, which falls one per case on average, then goes numbered: Orange at 249, Blue Wave at 199, Hyper at 175, Red Wave at 149, Blue Ice at 99, Green Scope at 75, Purple Power at 49, Camo at 25, Gold at 10, Gold Vinyl at 5, and Black Finite as a one of one. Green, Pink, Disco, Orange Ice, and Purple Pulsar Prizms are retail-only parallels tied to specific blaster and mega box versions.

Inserts come four per hobby box on average. All Out, Go Hard or Go Home, and Lockdown were new for 2020, Illumination, Aurora, and Instant Impact are the short prints, and Stained Glass and Color Blast are the super short prints. Published odds put Stained Glass at 1 in 5 cases and Color Blast at 1 in 10 cases, and Panini said the short-printed inserts combine to fall once per case on average. Autographs cover Rookie Autographs, Rookie Patch Autographs numbered to 99 or less, base Autographs, and veteran Flashback and Franchise Legends Signatures.
