About the set
Storm Emeralda released in Japan on July 31, 2026 as the sixth expansion of the MEGA Series. Each pack holds 5 cards at 200 yen, and the set includes no basic Energy cards. The list runs 76 numbered cards plus 37 secret rares for 113 in total: 12 Art Rares at 077 to 088, the Ultra Rare ex, Trainer, and Special Energy cards, 6 Special Art Rares at 107 to 112, and one Mega Ultra Rare Mega Rayquaza ex at card 113. Its cards are expected in the English Delta Reign expansion on November 6, 2026.
The Mega Evolution ex lineup is Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex, and Mega Malamar ex, joined by Raikou ex, Heat Rotom ex, Wishiwashi ex, and Talonflame ex. The new mechanic is the paired Stadium: three Stadiums each split one artwork across a left card and a right card, and you need both in hand to play them together as one Stadium. Legendary Summit, the Mega Rayquaza pairing, reduces by one the Prize cards taken when a Colorless Pokemon is knocked out by attack damage, which drops Mega Rayquaza ex from a 3 Prize knockout to 2.
