About the set

Mega Evolution released on September 26, 2025 as the first expansion of the Mega Evolution series, the era that follows Scarlet & Violet. It holds 188 cards: 132 in the main set plus 56 secret rares. The English set is built from the Japanese Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia expansions, with reprints from the Premium Trainer Box MEGA.

Ten Mega Evolution Pokemon ex debut here: Mega Venusaur ex, Mega Camerupt ex, Mega Abomasnow ex, Mega Manectric ex, Mega Gardevoir ex, Mega Lucario ex, Mega Absol ex, Mega Mawile ex, Mega Latias ex, and Mega Kangaskhan ex. Mega Evolution ex cards bring the biggest HP totals in the game, with Mega Venusaur ex printed at 380 HP, and they give up three Prize cards when knocked out.

The secret rares break down as 22 Illustration Rares, 22 Ultra Rares, 10 Special Illustration Rares, and 2 Mega Hyper Rares. The Special Illustration Rares cover six Mega Evolution Pokemon ex and four Supporters, and the set closes with Mega Gardevoir ex at 187 and Mega Lucario ex at 188 as the Mega Hyper Rares.
