What the blaster chases
The base set comes on chrome stock with the usual refractor parallel ladder, and the chase runs through the numbered refractors and the insert run. The published checklist lists RayWave Refractors as a blaster exclusive, along with a run of blaster-only Mini-Diamond Refractors numbered from Aqua /199 down to Red /5. The SuperFractor one of one is listed for blasters as well. Topps does not publish per-box odds for the blaster, so we are not quoting any. Pulls are random and never guaranteed.
About the set
The base set runs 200 cards covering current MLS players, top young talent and past legends. Lionel Messi is card 10 and Cavan Sullivan card 90, and the legends side includes Wayne Rooney (101), Thierry Henry (121) and David Beckham (173). Antoine Griezmann (152) has his first Chrome MLS card here, and Robert Lewandowski's first Chrome MLS card comes in the Chrome Autographs set. Rookies include Cooper Sanchez (14), Archie Goodwin (32), Mateo Silvetti (40) and Bryan Zamble (200).
The insert run includes Helix, Pearlers and Wonderkids alongside the new Rhythm of the Game and Patriotic Passion sets, and the checklist also lists Chrome Anime, Shadow Etch, Tide Turner and Topps X Sesame Street. Autograph sets include Chrome Autographs, Renaissance Autographs and Summer Clash Autographs. An autograph from a blaster is possible on the published checklist, but it is not part of any per-box count.
Blaster, hobby or Mania
The hobby box is 20 packs of 4 cards with 2 autographs per box on average and adds hobby-only Prism and Lava Refractors. The Mania box is a single 12-card pack with four encased autographs. The blaster is the low-cost way into the set, built around RayWave and the Mini-Diamond Refractors that only come out of this format.
