About the set

2024-25 Prizm Basketball is an NBA licensed release, and hobby boxes came out on February 19, 2025. The base set runs 300 cards. Rookies sit at card numbers 221 to 270 and legends close the set at 271 to 300. The rookie class on the checklist includes Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr, Reed Sheppard and Matas Buzelis, and Silver Prizm rookie cards from that class are the ones to look for. No player is promised in any box.

What is in the box

Per box on average: 2 autographs, 22 Prizms and 10 inserts. Those are sell sheet averages across the print run, not a count for your box, and there is no autograph guarantee. Autographs come from Signatures, Rookie Signatures, Sensational Signatures and the new 10-card Prizmatrix Signatures. Inserts include Fireworks, Kaleidoscopic, Fractal, the 14-card Luck of the Lottery and the new 21-card Talismen. Prizmania returns as an SSP, and Groovy debuts as one.

The parallel ladder

Two numbered Prizms are hobby exclusive: Skewed, numbered to 249, and Basketball, numbered to 225. Further down, the numbered run includes Blue Ice to 125, Orange to 49, Mojo to 25, Gold to 10 and Black Gold to 5, ending at the Black Prizm one of one. Hyper and Ruby Wave Prizms are part of the rainbow too.

A single pack from this box can also be bought on its own. A single 12-card pack carries no hit guarantee, because the 2 autographs and 22 Prizms are per box averages spread across all 12 packs.
