About the set

2020 Topps Chrome Formula 1 released on April 23, 2021 as the first Topps Chrome set for the sport. The 200-card base set covers F1 drivers and F2 drivers along with team principals, team crews and the cars, with base subsets Formula 1 Freshest, Future Stars and Grand Prix Winners. Because it is the debut Chrome set, the 2020 driver cards are the first Chrome cards for that grid, which is the reason this box trades where it does.

Refractor parallels run from the base Refractor through Purple (/399), Gold (/50), Gold Wave (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Wave (/25), Red (/5), Red Wave (/5), the SuperFractor 1/1 and Printing Plates, plus a 70th Anniversary parallel family in Gold, Orange, Red and SuperFractor. Inserts land in every box: 1954 World on Wheels (35 cards, 1:3 packs) and Track Tags (15 cards, 1:6 packs), both with Refractor versions.

The Chrome Autographs set has 52 signed cards with parallels including Green (/99), Gold (/50), Red (/5) and the SuperFractor 1/1. Autographs fall in every other hobby box on average, so a single box is a coin flip for ink.

What comes in a 2020 Topps Chrome Formula 1 hobby box?

A 2020 Topps Chrome Formula 1 hobby box has 18 packs with 4 cards per pack, 72 cards in total. The published box breakdown lists 10 parallels or short prints per box and autographs at 1 in 2 hobby boxes on average. Every pull is random and never guaranteed.

How many cards are in the 2020 Topps Chrome F1 set?

The base set has 200 cards covering F1 drivers, F2 drivers, team principals, team crews and the cars, with Formula 1 Freshest, Future Stars and Grand Prix Winners subsets. The set released on April 23, 2021.

Why is 2020 Topps Chrome Formula 1 so expensive?

It is the first Topps Chrome Formula 1 set, which makes the 2020 driver cards the first Chrome cards for that entire grid, including the Refractor parallels and the 52-card Chrome Autographs set. Debut Chrome years carry the demand in most sports, and F1 is no exception.

Does every 2020 Topps Chrome F1 hobby box have an autograph?

No. Autographs fall in 1 of every 2 hobby boxes on average, so a single box has roughly a coin flip chance at a signed card. Treat any autograph as a random pull that is never guaranteed.

What are the best cards to pull in 2020 Topps Chrome Formula 1?

The marquee pulls are Chrome Autographs and their SuperFractor 1/1 parallels, the base SuperFractor 1/1, Red and Red Wave Refractors numbered to 5, and the 70th Anniversary parallels. The 1954 World on Wheels and Track Tags inserts fall in every box. All are pulled at random and never guaranteed.

Is this 2020 Topps Chrome F1 hobby box factory sealed?

Yes. Every sealed product we sell is factory sealed and unopened. We ship within 24 hours, tracked, from our shop in Plains, PA, just outside Wilkes-Barre, and local pickup is always welcome.

Manufacturer sell sheet information, hit rates, and configurations are subject to change and are shown as a guide. Pulls are random and never guaranteed.
