About the collection
This was one of the launch-window Sword & Shield pin collections from spring 2020, built around Morpeko and its Hangry Mode. It launched April 3, 2020, alongside a Snorlax pin collection. The two were paired releases, each with its own bright foil promo card and its own pin, one featuring Snorlax and one featuring Morpeko. The pin and the promo art are built around Morpeko, the Pokemon known for switching between its Full Belly Mode and its Hangry Mode.
Published checklists list the foil Morpeko promo as SWSH031, a Sword & Shield Black Star Promo. The promo and the pin are the fixed part of the box. The booster packs inside varied by print run, so we do not promise specific sets, and every card inside the packs is random. The official contents note lists each booster pack at 10 cards and 1 basic Energy.
