About the set

Champion's Path launched on September 25, 2020 as part of the Sword and Shield series. Pokemon frames it around the heart of a champion and the strongest Trainers the Galar region has to offer. This box is built on Charizard, the signature partner of Galar Champion Leon: Gigantamax Charizard is on the box and the sleeves, and Charizard V is on the promo.

The set runs 80 cards. The main list is numbered to 073, and seven more cards are numbered beyond it, from 074/073 to 080/073. Five of those are Rainbow Rares: Charizard VMAX at 074, Drednaw VMAX at 075, Gardevoir VMAX at 076, and the Supporter cards Kabu at 077 and Piers at 078. Charizard V at 079 and Suspicious Food Tin at 080 close out the numbering.

Champion's Path booster packs were not sold on their own. They came only inside set products, and this Elite Trainer Box holds 10 of them.

The Charizard V promo is the one Charizard card listed in the box contents. Among the cards numbered beyond 073, Charizard appears twice: the Rainbow Rare Charizard VMAX at 074/073, illustrated by aky CG Works, and Charizard V at 079/073. Both come only from the booster packs, at random.
