One Piece Illustration Box Vol. 8, explained

About the set

Illustration Box Vol. 8 released July 31, 2026. It has no set of its own. The four packs come from two existing English boosters, and the promotion cards carry OP-14 card numbers.

  • The Time of Battle [OP-16] released June 12, 2026. Bandai lists 126+1 types in total.
  • Adventure on Kami's Island [OP15-EB04] released April 3, 2026. Bandai lists 159+1 types in total.
  • Retailers often write that second pack as [OP-15]. Same booster.

Bandai lists the same rarity lineup for both sets: Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares, Secret Rares, Leaders, Specials, Treasure Rare and DON!! Card. Those rarities belong to the parent boosters, not to this box, and no odds are published for any of them.

The two promotion cards

Bandai's IB-08 page shows card images for OP14-005 Killer and OP14-014 Eustass "Captain" Kid in Illustration Box Vol. 8 artwork. Both originate in The Azure Sea's Seven [OP-14], where Killer is a Common and Kid is a Rare. Bandai publishes no rarity for the Illustration Box printings, so we do not assign one.

Read the exclusivity carefully. The Illustration Box Vol. 8 artwork is what this product carries. The card numbers themselves are not box only. Both exist in other printings, and Kid has a second alternate art in a separate product. On the count, Bandai's line reads Promotion Card x2 (2 types). We quote it as printed and say nothing past it.

Vol. 8 next to Vol. 7

Illustration Box Vol. 7 [IB-07] released the same day with the same contents line, and the booster packs are identical between the two boxes. Only the promos differ. Vol. 7 shows OP14-107 Shakuyaku and OP14-108 Silvers Rayleigh. Vol. 8 shows Killer and Eustass Kid. The volume number is the only thing separating them.

03Questions

You have questions. The family has answers.

What exactly is in the box?

Bandai lists it as Booster Pack [OP15-EB04] x2, Booster Pack [OP-16] x2, Promotion Card x2 (2 types). That is four sealed booster packs plus the promotion cards. We do not state anything past that line, because Bandai does not.

Which promotion cards are in Vol. 8?

Bandai's IB-08 page shows card images for OP14-005 Killer and OP14-014 Eustass "Captain" Kid in Illustration Box Vol. 8 artwork. Bandai's contents line reads Promotion Card x2 (2 types), and we quote it as printed rather than describing how the two copies break down.

Are the promotion cards exclusive to this box?

The Illustration Box Vol. 8 printing is what this box carries. The card numbers are not exclusive. Both cards exist in other printings, including their base versions in The Azure Sea's Seven [OP-14], and Kid has a second alternate art in a separate product. Buy this for the Illustration Box artwork, not for a card you cannot get anywhere else.

How many hits per box?

Nobody publishes a figure. Bandai states no odds, no pull rates, no print run and no per box average for Illustration Box Vol. 8, so we do not print one. Four packs is four packs. Pulls are random and never guaranteed.

Are there autographs in this product?

No. No autograph content is published for Illustration Box Vol. 8 and there is no autograph guarantee. A box can contain nothing but commons from the four packs plus the promotion cards.

What is the difference between Vol. 7 and Vol. 8?

The promos. Vol. 7 [IB-07] released the same day, July 31, 2026, with the same contents line, so the four booster packs are identical between them. Vol. 7 shows OP14-107 Shakuyaku and OP14-108 Silvers Rayleigh. Vol. 8 shows Killer and Eustass Kid.

Why do some listings say [OP-15] instead of [OP15-EB04]?

Same booster, two ways of writing the code. Bandai writes it [OP15-EB04] for Adventure on Kami's Island, and a lot of retailer copy shortens it to [OP-15].

How many cards are in the box in total?

We do not quote one. Bandai does not publish a cards per pack figure for either included set, and published counts vary between listings, so any box total would be somebody's arithmetic rather than a manufacturer spec.

Do you sell the packs separately out of this?

No. This listing is one sealed Illustration Box.

What sets are the booster packs from?

Two English boosters. The Time of Battle [OP-16], released June 12, 2026, which Bandai lists at 126+1 types in total, and Adventure on Kami's Island [OP15-EB04], released April 3, 2026, which Bandai lists at 159+1 types in total.

Is this factory sealed?

Yes. Every sealed product we sell is factory sealed and unopened. We ship within 24 hours, tracked, from our shop in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and local pickup is always welcome.

Manufacturer sell sheet information, hit rates, and configurations are subject to change and are shown as a guide. Pulls are random and never guaranteed. Published card counts vary between sources, so we do not quote a card total for this box.
