About the set
2026 Topps Chrome Baseball released on July 22, 2026 with a 300-card base set of stars, rookies and legends, the same base checklist found in the hobby boxes. The rookie class includes Konnor Griffin at card 74, Jac Caglianone at 131, Roman Anthony at 225 and Munetaka Murakami at 274. Wrecking Crew is back for the 30th anniversary of Topps Chrome as one of its original inserts, and the 1991 Topps Baseball insert brings back the 1991 design for the 75th anniversary of Topps Baseball.
What is exclusive to this box
The Topps odds sheet gives the Fanatics Mega Box its own column, and several cards appear in that column only. Base Topps Refractors fall at 1:1 packs and Blue Topps Refractors at 1:6. The 10-card Fanatical insert falls at 1:60 packs, with Gold at 1:498, Orange at 1:991, Black at 1:2,456, Red at 1:4,911 and a Superfractor at 1:24,060. Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Paul Skenes, Roman Anthony and Jac Caglianone are among the ten Fanatical subjects. The box print also calls out Lightboard Logo Variations, which fall at 1:121 packs here and also show up in the other retail boxes. The box notes that packs with a special insert may contain fewer cards.

The regular insert run falls at short pack rates: 1991 Topps Baseball at 1:5 packs, Wrecking Crew and Big Ticket Players at 1:6, Chrome Rivals Away and Past to Present at 1:12, and Future Stars and Perspectives at 1:15. Past to Present pairs franchise legends with current stars, such as Mickey Mantle with Aaron Judge and Hank Aaron with Ronald Acuna Jr. Base Negative Refractors sit at 1:1,029 packs, and the color Refractors climb from Pink to Red, which falls at 1:80,200.
Autographs, and what is not in this box
Topps states no autograph count for this box. Autographs do appear on the odds sheet: Topps Chrome Rookie Autographs at 1:118 packs, Retail Rookie Autographs at 1:287, Ink Strokes at 1:1,280 and 75th Diamond Autographs at 1:2,481. X-Fractors belong to the standard Mega Box. The hobby format inserts Shadow Etch, Diamond Moments, Wild Style and Radiating Rookies, and every Gold Logoman card, have no rate in the Fanatics Mega Box column.
