About the set

2025-26 Topps Hoops Basketball released on May 14, 2026, the first Hoops set under Topps. The 300-card base set covers the league from stars to rookies, with Base All-Star Variations from the 2025 All-Star Game in San Francisco and Highlights cards for the season's big performances. Hobby boxes carry the Pixel Burst parallel structure (the Pixel Burst Black is numbered to 10) while retail boxes get Light Burst. Topps lists Base Pixel Burst at 1:2 hobby jumbo packs.

Hobby inserts are Bounce House, Next Episode, Dunk-umentory (a movie poster design with a screenplay card back) and Hoopers, with Oasis, Joy, Checkmate and Hoopnotic as the hobby case hits. Topps lists Joy at 1:163 jumbo packs, Checkmate at 1:381, Hoopnotic at 1:133 and Oasis at 1:3,050. Retail formats get their own inserts (Hardwired, The Buzz, Jam-Packed) and case hits (Block by Block, Boom Shaka Laka). Finals Pursuit tells the 2025 playoffs round by round with each card numbered to 2,025, and the champion Oklahoma City Thunder cards are numbered lower still.

Autographs are led by the hobby-exclusive Hoops Signs (1:18 jumbo packs), Rookie Signatures from the 2025 class headed by Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg, Hoops Rookie Duals and Triples (Flagg with Kon Knueppel, and a Flagg, Knueppel and Dylan Harper triple), Rookie Veteran Duals such as Dylan Harper with Stephon Castle, and 1989 Signatures on the design of the original 1989 Hoops set with LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey. Retail carries Hoops Rookie First Signs and Hyper Signatures instead.
