About the set

Panini says this is the first time Ligue 1 has been featured in its Select brand. The set keeps the usual Select layout, with a 250-card base set split into three tiers of increasing rarity: 100 Terrace, 100 Mezzanine and 50 Field Level cards.

Insert sets are Equalizers, Select Future, Unstoppable and Snapshots. Four super-rare limited inserts, Stained Glass, Artistic Impressions, Visionary and Team Badges, fall one of each per case on average. A case is 12 H2 boxes, so a single box carries no expectation of any of them.

Panini lists six autograph inserts, including Select Few Signatures, Select Stars Signatures and Select Pairings, a new dual autograph set. The checklist also includes Pitchside Signatures, Select Signatures, Signatures and an autographed memorabilia set. Memorabilia comes in Select Memorabilia, Select Swatches, Dual Swatches and Jumbo Swatches.

What is in the box

Each H2 box is 12 packs of 5 cards, and a case holds 12 boxes. Panini's H2 box break is two autograph or memorabilia cards, six inserts or insert parallels, and 12 parallels including three numbered parallels, per box on average. The packaging splits the two hits as one autograph and one memorabilia card per box on average. Because these are averages that count autographs and memorabilia together, a box can produce memorabilia and no signature. There is no autograph guarantee.

You can also buy a single 5-card pack from a box instead of the full box. A single pack carries no hit guarantee, because the two hits are a per box average spread across all 12 packs.

The H2 parallel ladder

Panini's H2 parallel list for the Field Level base tier runs Silver, Pandora, Multi-Color, Teal Checker and Honeycomb, then numbered Red /55, Blue /40, White /20, Gold /10, Green /5 and Black 1/1. Snapshots comes in Silver, Pink /25, Gold /10, Green /5 and Black 1/1. Select Stars Signatures carries Tie-Dye numbered to 25 or less, Gold to 10 or less, Green to 5 or less, and Black 1/1.
