Obsidian is seven cards, and four of them are hits. Panini configures the box at four combined autographs or memorabilia cards, one insert, one parallel and one base card. There is no filler to work through, which is the whole design of the brand. Pulls are random and never guaranteed. Factory sealed, shipped from our shop in Plains, PA, just outside Wilkes-Barre.

What is in the box
- 4 autographs or memorabilia cards combined
- 1 insert
- 1 parallel
- 1 base card
- 1 pack per box, 7 cards in total, 12 boxes per case
Worth stating plainly: the four-card figure counts autographs and memorabilia together. A box can produce four relics and no signature, and that is a normal outcome rather than a short box.
About the set
2025-26 Obsidian Soccer released on July 25, 2025. The base set runs 200 cards and every base card is numbered to 169, which is unusual. Most products have an unnumbered base layer underneath the parallels. Obsidian does not, so even the plain base card in your box is a serial numbered card.
You can also count on one true base card and one base Electric Etch parallel per box. Electric Etch is the chromium treatment that gives Obsidian its look, and it is the finish the brand is recognised by.
The parallels worth knowing
Caldera parallels are numbered to 25 and are new hobby exclusives for this release. They do not appear outside the hobby configuration.
Above those sit two case-level cards: Contra parallels and Black Color Blast, both of which Panini lists at one per hobby case. With 12 boxes to a case, that works out to roughly one every twelve boxes, so treat either as a genuine long shot rather than something a single box owes you.
What you are actually buying
Seven cards at a high price per card. That is the trade Obsidian asks you to make, and it is the same trade a product like Immaculate asks in basketball. Four hits in seven cards is an exceptional ratio, but the variance on a box this small is real in both directions.
This ships tracked. Local pickup at the shop in Plains is welcome.

How many cards come in an Obsidian box?
Seven. One pack per box, and four of the seven are hits: four combined autographs or memorabilia cards, plus one insert, one parallel and one base card. There are 12 boxes to a case.
Am I guaranteed four autographs?
No. The four-card figure counts autographs and memorabilia together, so a box can produce four relics and no signature. That is a normal outcome rather than a short box.
Is the base card numbered?
Yes, and that is unusual. The 200-card base set is numbered to 169 throughout, so there is no unnumbered base layer anywhere in the product.
What is Electric Etch?
The chromium treatment Obsidian is recognised by. You get one base Electric Etch parallel per box alongside the true base card.
What is hobby exclusive?
The Caldera parallels numbered to 25 are new hobby exclusives for this release and do not appear outside the hobby configuration.
What are my odds on a Black Color Blast?
Panini lists Black Color Blast and Contra parallels at one per hobby case. At 12 boxes to a case that is roughly one every twelve boxes, so treat either as a long shot rather than something a single box owes you.
Is seven cards worth it?
That is the trade Obsidian asks, the same one Immaculate asks in basketball. Four hits in seven cards is an exceptional ratio, but variance on a box this small runs in both directions.
Is this box factory sealed?
Yes. Every sealed product we sell is factory sealed and unopened. We ship within 24 hours, tracked, from our shop in Plains, PA, just outside Wilkes-Barre, and local pickup is always welcome.
