About the set
2021-22 Chronicles Soccer released June 29, 2022 in its hobby form and combines more than 15 Panini brands across the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A, with all 20 clubs from each league. Base cards come in three 20-card sets, one per league, and the brand designs include Prizm, Select, Spectra, Certified, Absolute, XR, and Contenders Optic Rookie Ticket, with Flux, Origins, and Playoff appearing in soccer for the first time. Parallels run Gold Lasers, Purple Astro, Red Lasers, Silver, Blue /99, Cracked Ice /23, Blue Astro /16, Gold /10, Green /5, and Platinum 1/1, and Gala Rookies are limited to eight copies each.
Autographs sit in Contenders Autographs, Origins Autographs, Noir Spotlight Signatures, and Treasured Signatures, with autograph-memorabilia cards in Cornerstones and Crown Royale Silhouettes. One quirk to know: in the Serie A portion, an unnumbered Silver parallel of the opti-chrome inserts was printed as an unnumbered Blue, so Serie A has two Blue opti-chrome parallels, one unnumbered and one numbered to 49.
