About the set

Panini bills this release as the soccer debut of Mosaic, built on the 2020-21 LaLiga season. Panini's estimated release date was May 12, 2021. The base set runs 100 cards. Lionel Messi is in it on base card 57 and also appears in Pitch Masters and the Stained Glass insert, but he is not on either autograph checklist.

What is in the box

Each box holds 10 packs of 15 cards, and a case holds 12 boxes. Per hobby box on average, Panini lists 1 autograph, 5 Silver parallels, 15 Mosaic parallels and 20 inserts. The autographs come from two sets with current and past stars of the league: LaLiga Autographs Mosaic at 28 cards and LaLiga Scripts at 29. Both carry Gold parallels numbered to 10 or less and Black one of ones. Autographs Mosaic signers on the checklists include Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, David Villa, Iker Casillas, Neymar Jr, Rivaldo and Xavi Hernandez, and Scripts include Luis Figo and Roberto Carlos.

Parallels and inserts

Base parallels start with Silver and Mosaic. The Hobby-exclusive run is Mosaic Red, then Blue numbered to 99, Purple to 49, Pink to 25, Gold to 10 and a Black one of one. Stained Glass is a Hobby-exclusive insert of 20 cards. Pitch Masters and Montage, 30 cards each, carry Mosaic parallels plus Hobby-exclusive Mosaic White numbered to 25, Gold to 10 and Black one of ones. Panini's selling points name International Men of Mastery as a third insert with Hobby-only parallels, and the parallel list on the same sell sheet gives that run to Will to Win, a 40-card set.

A single pack taken from a hobby box can also be bought here. A single 15-card pack carries no hit guarantee, because the autograph and every other figure above is a per box average spread across all 10 packs.
