About the set

Released April 10, 2019, 2018-19 Donruss Soccer covers 30 club and national teams, including FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Manchester City alongside the United States, Mexico, Spain, and Australia. The base set is 200 cards: 175 base cards plus 25 Rated Rookies, the first Rated Rookie cards in a soccer product. Unlike Donruss in other sports, this release folds Donruss Optic into the same box: a base Optic parallel falls in every pack, and eight of the ten Optic parallels are hobby exclusive, running Holo, Aqua /149, Purple Velocity /125, Orange /99, Red Velocity /50, Black Velocity /25, Gold /10, Green /5, and Gold Vinyl 1/1. Hobby-only Press Proof parallels cover the base set and Rated Rookies, from Silver, Green, and Red down to Die-Cut /100, Gold /75, Canvas /25, Gold Die-Cut /10, Blue /5, and Purple 1/1.

Six traditional inserts carry the Donruss legacy: Elite Series, Legends Series, Dominators, 1989 Donruss Tribute, Out of This World, and Magicians, plus six hobby-only Optichrome inserts in Illusions, Explosive, Titans, Chain Reaction, Preferred, and X-Ponential Power. Autographs come as Optic Autographs of the base set and Rated Rookies with Blue, Gold, and Gold Vinyl parallels numbered from 99 down to 1, The Beautiful Game Autographs (50 cards), Road to France with 16 USWNT players, and hobby-only Dual, Triple, and Quad autographs.

Hobby or retail

Hobby is the only place the Press Proof parallels, eight of the ten Optic parallels, the Optichrome inserts, and the multi-player autographs live, and it averages two autographs per box. Retail packs carry base cards, Rated Rookies, and retail-exclusive parallels without the hobby autograph average. We also sell single packs from this box.
